C-DAC "THE SUPER COMPUTING PEOPLE"

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing ( C-DAC ) ,established in March 1988, is primarily an R&D institution involved in the design, development and deployment of electronics and advanced Information Technology products and solutions. Constituting the largest R&D Lab in the Department of Information Technology ( DIT ), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ( MCIT ), Government of India. It was originally setup to bring out High Performance Computing and Communications (HPCC) solutions to the scientific community through the parallel processing route.

Apart from HPC, C-DAC is into core R&D areas like Grid Computing, Real Time Systems and Embedded Electronics, Broadband and Wireless Networking, Multimedia Computing, Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) and Software Technologies.

Pyari Betiyan

Mein beti bankar aayi hoon
Maa-baap ke jeevan mein
Basera hoga kal mera
kisi aur ke aangan mein
Kyon yeh reet bhagwan ne banayi hogi
kehte hain aaj nahi toh kal tu parayi hogi
De kar janam pal-poskar jisne hamein bada kiya
aur waqt aaya toh unhi haathon se hamein vida kiya
betiya isse samajhkar paribhasha apne jeevan ki
bana deti hai abhilasha ek atoot bandhan ki
kyon rishta hamara itna ajeeb hota hai
kya bas yahi hum betiyon ka naseeb hota hai
